Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Kappa Omega Chapter is now accepting applications for our signature youth enrichment program, CAP. The CAP (College Admissions Process) Program is the signature youth enrichment program of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for high school males and females. Students in the CAPSM program will have an opportunity to receive academic enrichment and life skills training to support their college or vocational employment.

The goals of the CAPSM Program include:

A step-by-step approach (STEPP) to assist high school students effectively and efficiently navigate the college enrollment process at any college or university – HBCU and non-HBCU’s.

    STEPP means:

S – Search for schools and scholarships that meet your needs.
T – Test: Prepare and take the required admissions test(s).
E – Evaluate: What schools are on your short list.
P – Punctuality: Create a time-line to include completing and submitting applications, essays, financial aid forms, and other required materials to ensure no important deadlines are missed.

P – Positive Outlook: Keep a positive attitude and be optimistic about your future.

The CAP Program is designed for high school male and female students in the 11th - 12th grades. Students in the CAP Program will reap great rewards – including college scholarships and a variety of program incentives. See brochure for more details.
